Big names like SuperJJ, Legendaren and Freakeh join the eight invites.
Despite facing multiple issue on its opening day, the $25,000 Truesilver Championship found its eight qualified players on the evening of December 11th. Although a lot of big names of Hearthstone attended the swiss preliminary, few made it through the grinder.
SeatStory Cup IV champion Jan “SuperJJ” Janssen is arguably the player to watch coming from the qualifier round. Complexity’s rising star has been gathering power and since his break-out in Krefeld he also took the gold at Time2Win invitational and the bronze at WePlay League, now looking forward to challenging world’s best in Birmingham.
Swedish duo Jesper “Frekeh” Ericsson of SK Gaming and Anton “Legendaren” Danielsson of London Conspiracy wrap up the list of known names to qualify for Truesilver’s main event. Freakeh, known as one of the main practice partners and close friends of Jon “Orange” Westberg is now a centerpiece of SK’s Hearthstone line-up while Legendaren will look to win a second LAN championship after triumphing at Gfinity Summer I earlier this year.
The sixteen players now wait for the round robin group stage pairings before the main event can start.
