GosuGamers and StarLadder are partnering up once again for the new Hearthstone season and the preliminary tournaments are bursting with talent.
To fill its player pool for the $15,000 StarSeries Season I, StarLadder has gone to some of the best players in Europe, North America, CIS and Asia. 32 selected names have been chosen to participate in the closed qualifiers – one international and one for CIS – which will happen over the next several days.
The top two of each bracket will join the 12 invites (yet unannounced) in the main event which is scheduled to start in September. Over the course of next month, the sixteen total players will go through two double elimination groups, a last chance bracket and grueling playoffs played in Kiev, Ukraine, in attempt to knock James “Firebat” Kostesich off of his SLTV throne.
The brackets will be hosted and covered on GosuGamers’ official StarSeries coverage hub, which you can find here. At any point of time, you can hop there and track your favorite players’ progress.
