Less than two days after it was initially announced, the PGL Spring Tavern Tales tournament reveals its eight invites.
PGL are bringing Hearthstone to DreamHack Romania on April 24-26 alongside $10,000 as the prize pool. As we reported earlier, the tournament will be 32-man brawl, with 24 slots reserved for qualifier winners and ticket holders and the other eight going to known names of the scene.
Today, PGL announced said eight invites. These names will be seeded directly into the final, single elimination phase of the tournament where they will wait for the best eight among the group stage players.
The list is rich on championship titles. DreamHack powerhouses ThijsNL and Gaara will be flying to Bucharest as the two grand finalists from the last time Hearthstone was in Romania's capital. Aside from that, we have the top three world ranked players in Firebat, StrifeCro and Lifecoach, as well as other household names like Kolento , Neirea and Rdu.
The qualifiers for the tournament are set to begin early April. The casters for the main event will be Sebastian "Forsen" Fors and Marcin "Gnimsh" Filipowicz.
