Fourth GosuCup SEA title for Vietnam

Nguyê?n "Charge" Thanh is the eleventh winner of GosuCup SEA after a four-game series against Jowy "Havatite" Escobido from the Philippines. This is the fourth win for Vietnam and the country is now the winningest in the entire circuit.

GosuCup SEA continues to write history. After finding the first two-times champion in all of tournament's history, this week another record was broken as Charge brought the fourth gold medal for his homeland - Vietnam.

The first few rounds of GosuCup SEA #11 met Charge with more or less unknown names until he entered the top four. In the semi finals, he ran into compatriot Hovati16, a GosuCup #5 runner-up and a player already qualified for the February grand finals. A win there sent him to the last round, where he would meet Filipino veteran Havatite, known for his participation in the first eHL Season back in 2014.

Apart from the $100 grand prize, Charge will of course represent Vietnam in the grand finals next month. Havatite will also join him there as well ElleWhyJay from Singapore, who took the brone final match against Hovati16.

Vietnam might have taken its fourth GosuCup win but they're still not in the clear as Philippines are trailing right behind and per usual, the two countries are neck and neck, just one point difference between them. Singapore and Indonesia continue their dance for the top three and this time the former is on top.
