DreamHack Bucharest have announced the final three invited players for their $10,000 tournament next weekend, as well as the casting line up for the event.
With eight invitees promised but only five previously announced DreamHack Bucharest has today announced the three final invitees for their tournament, and ThijsNL, Max and Hyped will be joining Lothar, Rdu, Gaara, Frezzar and ek0p in the invited player line up. On day two these eight invited players will meet eight players who make it through the first day's 64 player open bracket.
The DreamHack Bucharest tournament will take place on the same weekend as the World Championships first group stage takes place in California, leaving fans with no shortage of top quality Hearthstone eSports to take in next weekend.
With two group stages in the open qualifier and a third taking place on day two when the competition properly gets underway, there will be no shortage of games to watch. All games will take place under standard 'Last Hero Standing' format with BO3 for the groups, BO5 for the quarter finals and BO7 for the grand final. As of yet, DreamHack have not indicated any bans within those formats.
DreamHack also announced the team who will cast the event. With former DreamHack casters like Frodan and Artosis already committed to the World Championships, Tudor “ptz” Pi?igoi will be anchoring the desk in Bucharest. He will be joined by two senior players and team captains, Cloud9's Gnimsh and Tempo Storm's Reynad. The two opposing team captains casted a number of games together at the Viagame House Cup, as well as at other recent tournaments.
All the action will be streamed on Viagame.com, and kicks off at 11am CEST on Friday October 31st.
