Dreamhack Stockholm, the hosts of the final qualifying stage for the Blizzcon Hearthstone World Championships in the EU region, have announced the groups for the competition.
Four groups of four have been slated in a dual tournament format (GSL), with the top two from each group advancing to a round of eight. The winners of those four matches will qualify for the finals at Blizzcon, with no further matches to determine a top two or winner of the series. The tournament will be held on September 26 and 27, and will be casted in person by Frodan, Artosis and Savjz.Â
Most of the favourites have been kept apart in the initial group stage, and Kaor and Team Dignitas' Greensheep have replaced InnTheude and Noisyboy who are unable to attend. Greensheep will face ThijsNL in his opening match, the man who eliminated him in the previous round before he was awarded an alternate place.
