Team Liquid topped Group A after a flawless run rounding out Day 1 of the StarLadder iLeague Season 4 Invitational Minor.
The European titans are still proving to be in top form and a fierce competitor as they continue to barrel through Pro Circuit events, showing no mercy. Team Liquid crushed both Infamous and then later LGD Gaming making game play look like a cake walk.
LGD Gaming started out the group stage with the opening series, crushing compLexity Gaming in two heavily one sided games. Unforunately, the Chinese team seemed to be no match for Liquid and were not able to keep up their momentum. They are currently in second place and after one day off will then play the winner of the compLexity/Infamous matchup to keep their tournament dreams alive.
All the group stage matchups are best-of-three series. The top two teams will advance into the playoffs, while bottom two will be eliminated.
The action resumes tomorrow. February 2nd with the start of Group B as Team Kinguin take on Mineski at 12:00 local time/05:00 CET.
