Kurtis 'Aui_2000' Ling and David ‘MoonMeander’ Tan team up to compete under new NA lineup - Team Animal Planet.
Aui_2000 has been noticeably absent from the professional Dota 2 team since Cloud 9 disbanded following their disappointing 13-16th place finish at The International 2017. The veteran support player did not rejoin any teams in the shuffle and his presence was low key even on social media.
Following MoonMeander's unexpected release from Digital Chaos in early October when the team replaced him with Jimmy ‘DeMoN’ Ho, the Canadian pro had taken some time off from competitive play as well.
The two now will join up ahead of the upcoming roster lock and next wave of Pro Circuit qualifiers under the new North American contender - Team Animal Planet.
Joining the two veterans is Ravindu 'Ritsu' Kodippil who most recently departed VG J.Storm early December to "pursue another opportunity". The roster will be rounded out by two known pub players and emerging hopefuls in the regional scene - Kartik 'Kitrak' Rathi and 'Bryle'.
The team is expected to make appearances in the qualifiers for StarLadder Invitational i-League Season 4 Minor, ESL One Katowice Major, PGL Bucharest Open Major and GESC series: Jakarta Minor - all taking place in the upcoming few weeks.
