ROG Masters 2017 LAN Grand Finals finally here

The ROG Masters 2017 LAN Grand Finals have finally arrived as the six qualified teams gather in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia December 7th – 10th.

It was a long road leading to the ROG Masters 2017 LAN Grand Finals. Starting at the end of July, the Chinese teams were battling in the regional event, while the open qualifiers kicked off the first of four phases for APAC (Asia-Pacific), EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) and the AMERICAS. The second phase saw the winners of the open qualifiers compete for one spot in the third phase.

This third phase was the Regional LAN finals including notable teams that had been invited for the battle - the place where all of the Grand Final participants entered into the competition.

Now, the six remaining teams from around the world - OpTic Gaming, Team Empire, Penta, Execration, WarriorsGaming.Unity and Team Max* will battle it out in one of the last LANs of the year for the lion's share of the $235,000 prize pool.

Group Stage kicks off on December 7th at 10:00 local time/03:00 CET broadcast live HERE

*Team MAX replaced CDEC Gaming, who originally qualified in July, as the team had undergone significant changes in their lineup, leaving only one originally qualified player left on the squad. Team Max had come in as runner up for the event after being narrowing edged out by CDEC 3:2 in the grand finals.
