Team Secret have been confirmed as the sixth direct invite for the ESL One Genting 2018 Major next month.
With the addition of Marcus "Ace" Hoelgaard and Adrian "Fata" Trinks to Team Secret after TI7 for the new ProCircuit 2017-2018, the Europen mix has been revitalized with force that is nothing short of overwhelming. Sitting with a comfortable lead in the ProCircuit rankings with a cool 1230 points (that's a full 330 points ahead of Team Liquid, who assume second place in the lineup), they have become the season's hottest team. Only days ago they crushed Team Liquid in a 3:0 sweep at DreamLeague Season 8 for the major title.
Taking a break for the rest of the 2017 year, Team Secret will return at the start of 2018 with Captains Draft Minor, followed by Galaxy Battles II Major and then finishing the month off at ESL One Genting 2018 from January 26-28th.
ESL One Genting 2018:
Sixteen teams - ten directly invited and six qualified from around the globe will gather at the Arena of Stars in Genting’s Highlands Resort and battle for a total prize pool of $400,000 and 400 Pro Circuit Points.
