It lasted exactly three months. After a long trail of qualifiers failures, the MidOrFeed gang disbands

MidOrFeed was a bit of an unusual line-up with three mid players (hence the team name) willing to try new things at the beginning of the Dota2 Pro Circuit. Departed from Planet Odd in the post TI7 qualifiers, Aliwi 'w33' Omar took his chances to build a team and gathered a handful of people he played with before with hopes that playing with people that get along really well will make the difference. The only surprise pick of MidOrFeed was the very young Peruvian Enzo 'Timado' Gianoli. Recently turned 17 years old, Timado was at TI7 with Infamous, but the post event big shuffle left him teamless. Even so, it was rather surprising for everyone to see him willing to move to Romania to play with w33 and co.

A month ago, MidOrFeed were not able to improve on their constant 3rd/4th place finishers in the Minors and Majors qualifiers, and their captain at that time, Martin 'Saksa' Sazdov decided to step down and put his career on hold for a few months. Troels 'syndereN' Nielsen joined MidOrFeed at the end of October and took the lead, however, the results didn’t improve.

Since syndereN joined, MoF placed 3rd/4th in the MDL Macau EU qualifiers, 8th in the DreamLeague EU and CIS qualifiers and 9th/10th in the Galaxy Battles: Emerging Worlds EU qualifiers. Most recently, MidorFeed played in Midas Mode and finished fourth, however, they donated their full winnings to ADHD Solutions, an organization that provides information, help and support for children, young people, and adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

For the past week w33 and Mihai 'canceL^^' Antonio have been in Barcelona, Spain to compete with their national Team Romania at the WESG EU and CIS regional qualifiers finals. The two made it to the 1.5M dollars WESG 2018 Global Grand Finals which will be played sometime next spring, but the rather busy event from Spain might have had them finding it hard to focus on the Galaxy Battles qualifiers and MoF decided to forfeit their match against Evil Corporation from November 25.

After the MoF disband was made official by w33 via twitter, Maurice 'KheZu' Gutmann shared his thoughts and insights on what went wrong in the past few weeks with the team.

“We started out really well, the environment of the team was great, everyone was hyped to play, had a good mood and enjoyed playing, but things changed over time. This is where most things started, apart from some smaller problems. The atmosphere turned 180, most of us including myself weren't that happy and hyped to play any more, and the overall attitude just got worse from all of us” says KheZu in a TwitLonger post, and continues with: “A few days ago, I insisted on having a conversation where I voiced all my issues at the time, motivational, behaviour, and also being uncertain if we're good enough at our respective roles. After a long talk it seemed that I wasn't the only one feeling this way, at least concerning some points, mainly belief & motivation. There were certain things that dragged each other down and it became a vicious cycle.”

The disbanded MidOrFeed roster:

Peru Enzo 'Timado' Gianoli
Romania Mihai 'canceL^^' Antonio
Germany Maurice 'KheZu' Gutmann
Romania Aliwi 'w33' Omar
Denmark Troels 'syndereN' Nielsen
