Yesterday, November 16th, saw the culmination of the Summit 8 Minor qualifiers - finalizing the eight teams to take part in the main event.
November’s beginning has seen a lot of Dota 2 action as teams faced off in countless qualifiers for the years final Minors and Major. The DOTA Summit 8 is one of these Minor’s and is set to kick off on December 13th, pitting 8 teams from around the globe against each other for the glory of Pro Circuit Points. OG were lucky enough to claim a direct invite to this year’s event, while six spots went to the winners of the regional qualifiers – and a final slot to the winners of the King’s Cup: America. Yesterday saw the final qualifiers complete and the eight teams to participate at The Summit 8 are confirmed as follows:

The DOTA Summit 8 is set to be the final Valve Minor for this year, taking place from December 13th-17th in Los Angeles, America. The event will boast a prize pool of $300 000, while 300 Dota 2 Pro Circuit Points will be up for grabs as well. The breakdown of the points and prize pool has not yet been announced – nor has the broadcast talent for this minor, but it will surely be made public in the coming weeks.
