UCC and FaceIT have partnered up with Galaxy Battles II Major to host the open and closed qualifiers starting this week.
Galaxy Battles organizers are getting ready for their first Major event, featuring $1,000,000, a staggering 1500 TI8 qualifying points and 16 teams competing at the Philippines Arena from Bulacan, Philippines January 15-21.
Galaxy Battles II qualifier format:
Stage 1
- Eight teams are divided into two groups
- Best-of-three double-elimination bracket
- One team from each group advances to Stage 2
Stage 2
- Two teams from Stage 1 and two invited teams
- Best-of-three single-elimination bracket
- Winner qualifies for the Main tournament
