ROG Masters 2017 EMEA LAN finals are finally within sight after national qualifiers kicking off at the end of June. Eight of Europe's notable teams will go head to head in their first LAN of the season.
Only a few weeks ago, Team Kinguin claimed a spot in their first LAN of the year when they came out on top in the ROG Masters EMEA closed qualifiers, Phase 3. With a strong presence in the very chaotic and jam packed season, the Polish squad are quicking trying to find their position among the top teams in the region.
Joining them will be seven other teams that have been creating a stir and hustling in most, if not every for some, of the ProCircuit regional qualifiers.
Representing the CIS region, Team Empire, Vega Squadron and Double Dimension will look to solidify their name as a major league contender. TI7 participants, HellRaisers will look to prove they are still a force to reckon with despite a disappointing 17-18th place finish in Seattle. Team Tuho, Penta and SFT-e are aiming for a breakout moment, to take an edge and turn more heads for the second wave of ProCircuit qualifiers.
The LAN event will be held over the course of two days, October 12-13th in a single elimination, best-of-three format. While there is no prize pool for the event, teams will no doubt fiercely compete for the coveted two spots for the Phase 4 Grand Finals to take place at the end of the year.
The intimate LAN will be held at TakeTV studios in Krefeld, Germany with free tickets available via Eventbrite.
