Planet Odd are going to DreamHack Atlanta

Just signed yesterday by Planet Odd, Thunderbirds have qualified for DreamLeague Season 7 LAN finals from DreamHack Atlanta.

Planet Odd is a bright new esports organization who made their first teams acquisition announcement only two weeks ago when they introduced us to a CS:GO female roster, along with a Hearthstone division. Yesterday, Thunderbirds became the latest team to land on Planet Odd, and a few hours after the announcement, the team qualified for their first LAN event as part of Planet Odd, DreamHack Atlanta which is also the first LAN the org will attend.

The five ex-Thunderbirds boys competed in the NA division of DreamLeague and had an undefeated run through the two days of League play, finishing with 6 victories out of 6 possible and a total of $6,000 prize money.

As a newly established organization, Planet Odd will enjoy their trip to Atlanta for the DreamLeague LAN finals in July, a few weeks ahead of the International 7. The DreamLeague LAN is set to take place on the 21st and 22nd of July with four teams fighting for the title and a share of the $175.000 prize pool. Apart from Planet Odd, three more squads qualified for the event via European DreamLeague division, namely Team Secret, Team Liquid, who are the Season 6 defending champions, and Vega Squadron.

The LAN finals will be played in a double elimination format and in addition to the prize pool, DreamLeague also offers boot camp facilities to all the teams that will play at The International 7 as well.

1st place: $80,000
2nd place: $45,000
3rd place: $30,000            
4th place: $20,000
