Adam "Adam/343" Shah will be standing in for Mineski 'until further notice'. In the last match the team played for the Manila Masters SEA Quaifiers Adam played in lieu of Nico "eyyou" Barcelon.
Mineski had also confirmed Adam's status with the team, welcoming him for their first match only hours after the post. The Filipino team easily eliminated 458 Production in the lower bracket best-of-one series with Adam playing support in place of eyyou. Mineski had originally been invited to the qualifiers, beginning their journey in the upper brackets round of eight. They were promptly dropped to the lower brackets in a 2:0 sweep by WarriorsGaming.Youth only yesterday.
The changes in the lineup come only two weeks after Mineski finalized their new roster, built around Chai 'Mushi' Yee Fung and only two days after Adam eluded to his separation from B)ears.
No formal or official announcement has been provided and fans are left only to speculate that "eyyou" has parted ways with the team on a permanent basis.
Teams still have a few weeks to switch up their rosters and tryout various players before needing to lock them into place for TI7. It is expected the roster period will open up immediately following the conclusion of the Kiev Major and last approximately one month. As compared to last year when teams had to lock rosters for six months, starting with the Manila Major through to TI6, teams have been given the freedom to make one last change this year. Many surmise a significant shuffle will take place following Kiev Major.
Catch Mineski in action again tomorrow as they continue their journey in the lower brackets of the Manila Masters SEA qualifiers at 18:00 SGT/12:00 CES.
