The 2017 Spring Shuffle ahead of the Kiev Major ended on January 9. Most of the tier one teams chose stability while many of the squads that missed either the TI6 or the Boston Major looked to secure a roster that would give them better chances at the next Major.
For the first time since Puppey and Kuroky left the organization Na’Vi has looked outside the CIS region when adding new players to their team and rebuilt an international roster lead by the former Digital Chaos coach, Per Anders Olsson "Pajkatt" Lille.

Unfortunately the 2017 Spring Shuffle marks the end of the existence for MVP Phoenix. Four of their players will be playing in different European and NA teams. However, the organization will continue to search for young talents and will try to bring more Korean players into the professional scene via MVP Aegis. At the same time, MVP signed five Kyrgyz squad NoLifer.Reborn 5 and will have them moving to South Korea to play under MVP Revolution tag.
