compLexity Gaming acquire their substitute

After losing Justin ‘jk” Rosselle a couple of days ago, compLexity Gaming have managed to secure a substitute for their line-up going forward towards the Boston Major.

With the Boston Major quickly approaching, coL could have been in a dire situation had Valve not added a substitute ruling into the DotA 2 competitive scene. But due to this they were able to acquire Jaron ‘Monkeys-forever’ Clinton as a sub for jk after just a few days, meaning that they would still be able to field a team in the Major.

Monkeys-Forever is known for his time with Team Archon, where he was a mid lane player. coL announced via their Twitter that he would be joining them and playing the position three slot, as David 'Moo' Hull moved into the position one spot. During his time with Archon, Jaron participated with them at the Shanghai Major, but Archon did not have a great showing and ended the event in the bottom four of the standings. This does mean, however, that he has experience with these tournaments and the Boston Major will be his second Valve event.

compLexity Gaming are set to take part in the Northern Arena BEAT Invitational starting later today, with their first game versus EHOME taking place on Day 2 of the event. This will give them some time to get accustomed to the new addition to their line-up before the Major.
