Designed with multiple editions to take place over the course of 2016, the new online tournament is sponsored by the esports betting company eBettle and will kick off with the Winter season on February 10.
Across three days February 10-13 eight teams will battle in a single elimination bracket for a share at the $2,500 prize pool. Only the winners and runners up will be awarded with cash money as follows:
1st place: $1,750
2nd place: $750
For the debut season of Rumble Town six teams got directly invited to the competition and two more squads will join them via closed qualifier process. The boys from Enso are the first to join the main event bracket from the qualifiers.
All games will be played in a single elimination, best-of-three format with best-of-five grand finals. The event will be fully covered on the Rumble Town Twitch channels in both English and Russian languages.
The English commentary will be provided by Sander and a few guest co-casters while D2net will take care of the Russian commentary.
