German organization ESL has announced their third installement of their ESL One tournament series. Following the success of this year's event in Frankfurt, Germany, the organizers have decided to return to the World Cup stadium Commerzbank Arena.
It's been roughly two months since ESL One New York has finished and the Electronic Sports League has announced their third tournament already. The prestigious event will return to Commerzbank Arena in Frankfurt, Germany.
While the exact format and details for the event have not been released yet, it can be expected to once more feature a single elimination bracket, as the event is scheduled for two days yet again. On June 20th, teams from all over the world are expected to fight for the ESL One trophy again.
The tournament returns in its third installement to the World Cup stadium in Frankfurt, after the second one being held at Madison Square Garden theater in New York. Both tournaments saw a Chinese team emerge victorious. Invictus Gaming took home the title in June, whereas Vici Gaming won the title in New York, both of them beating Evil Geniuses in the finals.
Ticket sales will begin on Monday, with exact details yet to be released.
