Team Malaysia featuring the Orange of TI3 announced

The members of the second runners-up of The International 2013, Neolution.Orange, have reformed under a new banner after more than a year apart. Mushi, part of the all-star DK lineup last year, will rejoin his old teammates Net, Xtinct, Ohaiyo and Kyxy in Team Malaysia.

In a Facebook post by Tiffani 'BabyOling' Lim, the ex-manager of Titan announced that she, together with four players of Titan had left the organisation. The four players will be joining up with their ex-teammate Yee Fung 'Mushi' Chai to recreate the lineup of Orange from two years ago, which placed third at TI3, surpassing all expectations.

The creation of the team is unsurprising, given how Mushi has been playing as a stand-in for Titan since he left DK in the post-TI4 reshuffle. What is left unanswered, though, is the new sponsor for whom the team will be playing for. Separately, BabyOling has also mentioned that Wei Poong 'N.W.P.' Ng, also known as Yamateh, will be staying with Titan and helming the creation of a new team. The creation of two large teams in SEA will bring a much needed revival to the scene, given how the lack of financial investment, and development of a stable infrastructure has held the scene back in recent years.

Team Malaysia will make its first competitive appearance under this banner tomorrow, in the World Cyber Arena LAN in Yinchuan, China, against Alliance at 0330 CEST/ 0930 SGT.
