Burning to not retire?

In what may seem to be an exciting news for Burning fans, the legendary carry has hinted that he may just not retire and dedicate one more year to Dota 2.

Amidst heavy rumours circulating around Zhi Lei 'BurNIng' Xu's impending retirement, the legendary Ehome and DK carry, who shined like a burning star in the competitive scene worldwide, has hinted that he may not bring the curtains down on his professional gaming career just yet.

In his weibo post, Burning expresses his heartfelt gratitude towards his family, teammates and friends who have shown him outstanding support all this while. The legend also states, that he might stay as a pro-gamer if he is unwilling to leave, and even if he does decide to leave, he will continue to stay around the scene.

Thank you BBC (Chinese Gamefy commentator), thanks you to my teammates, thank you to my family who prayed for me and who advised me to retire, thank you to my friends who support me no matter win or lose, and thank you to all that was given to me by 5 years of competitive Dota, no matter how Dota changes, it will always have my love. If I stay, it is because I am unwilling to leave; if I retire, I will stay around the scene.

Burning aka B-God, is well known for his outstanding carry potential and has been famous on heroes such as Anti-Mage, Morphling, Lone Druid and Clinkz. He was also a part of the legendary Ehome squad that took the competitive scene by storm in 2010 after it bagged a record 11 titles.

He then went on to join DK, and has been the center of the team through its several iterations. However, the team received more fanfare when he recruited Mushi, Iceiceice and Lanm to play alongside him. No sooner, did they begin to post impressive results and won major tournaments throughout the year. Unfortunately, DK ended up taking the fourth spot at The International 2014 after being touted as the team to win.
