Era not participating in any LANs this Summer

Era, the 1 position player of European team Fnatic has just tweeted that he will not be able to play at any LANs this summer, which is probably due to his existing injury. Whether this will affect his availability for The International 2014 is still unknown.

The tweet was posted half an hour ago by Adrian 'Era' Kryeziu himself. It seems to confirm that he will be missing the last two large LAN events before The International 2014, which are DreamHack and ESL One, in Sweden and Germany respectively. He is likely missing the LAN events due to injury, which had already sidelined him for The Summit. The Fnatic carry has been an integral part of the Fnatic Dota squad's success, with his consistent and reliable play on his signatures heroes like Lifestealer and Tiny.

Details of a stand-in have not been confirmed as yet, but it is possible that Steve 'Excalibur' Ye will once again step up to fill the young carry's shoes. The 16 year old Swedish wunderkid had previously participated in The Summit as Era's stand-in, with two noteworthy performances on Meepo and Tinker, taking out Chinese giants Vici Gaming and Team DK respectively.

Furthermore, more confirmation is required from the team if Era will be able to participate in The International 2014, which will feature the largest ever prizepool in eSports. If his injury is serious enough to sideline him for the course of the tournament, it is likely that Fnatic will have to play with an official stand-in, mirroring American giants Evil Geniuses, who are playing without ex-Captain Clinton 'Fear' Loomis due to injury.
