Through a post in their official Weibo page, team NewBee just announced the addition of Zhaohui 'SanSheng' Wang, the former support player of TongFu. No official announcement has been made about any player departures from the club.
With the conclusion of StarLadder IX, several statements from Chinese players ignited rumors about potential roster changes in Chinese teams, only a few days before the announcement of The International invitees. The first official transfer took place today, with NewBee announcing the acquirement of Zhaohui 'SanSheng' Wang.
SanSheng was a member of the main roster of TongFu. With his teammates KingJ, Hao, Banana and Mu, SanSheng managed to reach the fifth place in The International 3 to earn over $200,000. During the post-TI3 Chinese reshuffle, TongFu replaced three of their players, but they did not manage to achieve great results. Early in 2014, the TongFu management announced that the team will now focus on newer talents rather than a main DotA 2 squad.
No information is available yet about any other changes in the NewBee roster. Rumors suggest that Zhou 'KingJ' Yang has left the squad, generating the empty roster slot for SanSheng. If this is true, Wang may return to his former offlane position. However, no official announcement has been made so far about KingJ's future, so it is safe to assume that NewBee now possesses a six-man roster.
NewBee current roster :
Zhang 'xiao8' Ning
Zhang 'Mu' Pang
Chen 'Hao' Zhihao
Jiao 'Banana' Wang
Zhaohui 'SanSheng' Wang
Zhou 'KingJ' Yang
SanSheng was announced Gosu Player of the week in December while he was playing for TongFu.
