Monster Energy in collaboration with SXSW and Logitech have announced their intentions of hosting an invitational LAN event, gracing the North American scene at the renowned SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas.
The three day event is scheduled to begin on March 07, 2014 and will run until March 09, 2014. Four premier North American teams will be seen competing at this event for a prizepool of $15,000. The tournament will follow a double elimination best-of-three bracket up to the grand finals, which will be a best-of-five affair.

Teams mentioned above will be seen competing at the event, however, Cloud 9 will avail the services of Jimmy 'DemoN' Ho who will be seen standing-in for the team in place of Armand 'bOne7' Pittner. On the other end, ex Evil Geniuses player, Arif 'MSS' Anwar will replace Team Liquid's Max 'qojqva' Broecker.

3rd: $2,000
The top three teams are guaranteed to win cash prizes, whilst the last placed team will walk away empty handed. Live broadcasts will be provided for online viewers, meanwhile, fans willing to attend the event can do so at the following address:
