WePlay has revealed the groups for season two with almost all the top tier European teams joining to battle out for a piece of the $25,000 prize pool. The tournament will begin on the 11th of September and run well into late October.
WePlay has announced the groupstage for their second season and all the top teams have signed up including Vladimir 'PGG' Anosov's new team The Retry. Apart from that, Alaan 'Sexybamboe' Faraj and Jing Jun 'Sneyking' Wu will also be playing alongside one another in Super Strong Dinosaurs.
The tournament will be commencing from the 11th of September and the first groupstage will end on the 6th of October. The second groupstage will run from the 15th of October onwards while the playoffs will start on the 23rd of October.
Format:
Groupstage 1: Round robin, 2 top teams advance
Groupstage 2: Double elimination groupstage, 2 top teams advance
Playoffs: Double elimination bracket for four teams
