Julz and Owey has been given the boot from Dreamz. The team is now down to three man and will be looking for replacements to continue competing in online tournaments all over South East Asia.
After staying together for over a year, Dreamz Ledion Steelseries.Dota 2 has decided to boot Joshua 'Owey' Dela Cruz and Julius 'Julz' Domingo out of the team after going under in many recent tournaments including The International 3 Eastern qualifiers.
The exact reason for the boot was not stated in Julz's announcement over Facebook yesterday. "It's already official, I am no longer part of Dreamz. I was booted out of the team. Thank you Dreamz family. I hope I can find a new team. Good luck to all Pinoy teams", wrote Julz.
Initially refusing to comment on the situation, Justin 'BigDogJ' Almeida posted a status update on Facebook stating that Dreamz's long-standing carry player had also been given the boot.
To Dreamz Ledion SteelSeries Owey. I would just want to thank you for all the memories we had during our 3 1/2 year journey. Through all the problems and hurdles we still accomplished a lot. All the championships we have will always be there and no one can take that away. Now you are entering a different kind of journey i hope you will take what i tried to teach you specially our winning mentality to school and wahtever you do in the future. When you became my player you were just a kid now your a man now act like one and always know you will always be a part of Dreamz family and i will be here if you need me....... Big Dog J
With the damage done, Owey and Julz, one of the brightest stars in Philippines will be looking for a new team. Dreamz on the other hand, will be down to three man.
