The in-game tutorial has been updated with two new quests. In addition, obligatory bug fixes have been added and three tournaments will now have a ticket to purchase in the Dota 2 Shop.
The RaidCall D2L has so far been without ticket, but it will have one starting with this week's patch, which features a new courier. In addition, tickets for the Canada Cup and the American Dota League will also be up for purchasing. Other than that, only a few bug fixes cover the patch notes.
GAMEPLAY
- Elder Titan: Fixed Natural Order not upgrading on Elder Titan.
- Elder Titan: Fixed Ancestral Spirit waking up units that were hit by the Spirit Stomp.
- Elder Titan: Fixed Ancestral Spirit having the wrong radius while returning after it expired.
- Fixed Shadow Blade incorrectly revealing its owner on secondary attack types if they occurred after the fade time.UI
- The combat log is now localized.
- Added an automatic "(idle)" tag in Rich Presence for players that are AFK.
- Fixed a bug where notifications of item purchases didn't work if the courier did the purchase.
- Fixed bug where chat ban notifications weren't displaying hours left correctly.PERFORMANCE
- Reduced memory usage.AUDIO
- Updated Nightstalker ultimate sound and made it global for teammates.
- Fixed Mana Leak target sound.
- Fixed Dust sound.
- Fixed an issue where Chinese audio was playing incorrectly.
- Added Canada Cup, Americas Tournament and Raidcall S3 tournaments.
What is however not included in the patch notes are two new tutorial locations. Up until now people would only be able to learn how to last-hit properly and farm up items to buy from the shop. In one of the two new quests you will be laning in a 1v1 mid scenario as Sniper, trying to destroy the enemy tier 1 tower before he destroys yours. (The enemy is initially displayed as DK, but it is an Axe instead)
The second new quest is unavailable as of now. The fact that they are both not in the patch notes might indicate that they won't be available for the main client anytime soon. Either way, stay tuned as we will inform you as soon as further details will be unveiled.
