Poker Stars vs. FyC-eSports
Poker Stars is one of the hottest teams in America right now, winning all 8 of their season games, including a much deserved victory over their perhaps biggest rivals EG. With that said, FyC will get a tough game, they've already lost once to Poker Stars this season and their mighty signature Sniper pick. The prediction for the victorious team is Poker Stars.
Team EG vs. Area 51
A similar case as the one just mentioned, EG got some of the best players in the world and a great line of experience. Puppey will probably not be playing this match since the rosters in CEVO are locked once you enter playoffs, but they might have added him before that. Nevertheless, the time zone is still off for both Puppey and Azen. 51 has a strong team, but whether they'll be prepared enough for this showdown or not is yet to be found out. Furthermore, EG have showed the European scene a few rumbles as well, so the predicted winner is EG.
PZ Gaming vs. GDT
Although GDT played an impressive gank-oriented game against 51 the other week, PZ gives appearance of being the stronger team. They've recently beat Blight in the playoffs for Pick League (however lost to Poker Stars the game after). They've also managed to pull off a strong season so far while GDT have been showing a less stable performance level. The prediction as follows: PZ.
Ohh Baby vs. DeciSiVe
Finally, the game that's the hardest to predict, both teams looking strong and equally skilled. This match can really go either way, much depending on who gets the Sniper + Slardar combo. The tangos will wisely be placed on whomever has the lowest percentage, but if a prediction have to be done (which it does): Ohh Baby. It is, however, somewhat of a coin flip.
Lots of these games will probably see Sniper banned. Once Poker Stars showed the power of the dwarf, most of the American teams embraced him. Recently, Europeans have played him as well whereas both MYM and DTS have had successful attempts.
Realizing that all four predicted winning teams are the top 4 of the season, and they are obviously top 4 for a reason, the confidence in the predictions is solid, with the exception being Ohh Baby vs. DeciSiVe. But what's fun about DotA is that any team can surprise with an extraordinary pick or just a regular outpick due to bad timing/planning of the opposite team.
