DreamHack have revealed the invited teams for the DreamHack Open: Austin 2017 closed qualifiers.
DreamHack Open's next stop will be Austin, Texas on April 28th - April 30th with a prize pool of $100,000. Six teams have already received their direct invites for the main event, leaving two teams to be decided from the closed qualifiers, one from Europe and one from North America will be join the list of attending teams and complete the eight-team roster of Austin.
The closed qualifiers are set to be held on March 26th in two regions, Europe and North America. Each region will feature eight teams that will seek to finish on top of their region in order to secure a spot at DreamHack Open: Austin 2017. Four teams from each region are granted invites by DreamHack.
On the European part, Markus "pronax" Wallstein's GODSENT, HellRaisers, mousesports and Polish side Kinguin will be attending the closed qualifiers as invited teams. The North American closed qualifiers invited teams are compLexity, NRG with their true North American mix team with Canadian, American and Mexican players, CLG and Sean "seang@res" Gares' Misfits backed by Miami Heat.
