This year's World Championship Asian qualifiers have been announced, which will decide who will be in attendance in October.
The TWC qualifier tournament this year will feature a twenty-four team lineup, and a complex format to determine which team will be representing the region in the fall in Belgrade. The teams will be divided based on last year's results into four groups; the eight new teams in attendance meanwhile will be put into their own group.
The first group, consisting of eight teams, will be then mixed with the challenger group, which will be whittled down to four teams. Those four will face off against the second group, and out of those eight teams, four will advance to the main qualifier round. They will join the final four seeded teams and will be divided into two groups of four. The winner of each group will move to the single elimination playoffs, which will ultimately crown the winner.
