DreamHack has announced another stop on the DreamHack ZOWIE Open tour, with Bucharest chosen as the destination for the September 16-18th event.
DreamHack has announced plans to team up with PGL — after the success of DreamHack Cluj-Napoca at the conclusion of 2015 — to bring DreamHack ZOWIE Open Bucharest to Polyvalent Hall in Romania from September 16-18th later this year. The event will host eight teams, still to be determined, with a prize pool of $100,000 on offer.
This event is one of eight total DreamHack ZOWIE Open events that will span the length of 2016. In total, $900,000 will be offered throughout the series of events. DreamHack also has a DreamHack Masters event coming up in April that will feature 16 teams and a $250,000 prize pool in Malmö, Sweden.
So far in 2016, Na'Vi was the first team to claim a DreamHack ZOWIE Open title, defeating Luminosity in the Grand Final of DreamHack ZOWIE Open Leipzig in January.
