PGL has revealed the names of three invited teams for the North American group.
Two weeks ago PGL announced the first season of their CS:GO league featuring both European and North American teams. As it was revealed back then, three out four North American teams will receive a direct invites.
Among the invited teams are a newly acquired Luminosity Gaming roster, Counter Logic Gaming and Team Liquid. This will be the first test for FalleN and co. under the name of Luminosity, who have just last night announced the cooperation.
The fourth spot at North American group will be obtained by the winner of the qualifiers which will commence on August 3rd. The qualifiers will feature a single elimination bracket with 128 teams battling through the best-of-one format. However, once the qualifier reach the playoffs the format will get changed to best-of-three series. The grand finals of NA qualifier is scheduled on August 9th.
