Veteran Counter-Strike player Joona "natu" Leppänen has announced that he will be retiring from competitive play.
After playing Counter-Strike competitively for over 15 years now, Joona "natu" Leppänen has finally decided to retire, stating that the responsibilities coming with starting a family required him to quit spending too much time into CS:GO. However, the 29 year old Finnish player also made it clear that he is going to stay in the scene, being involved in casting and analyzing professional CS:GO matches.
He is currently scheduled to have a casting/analyst role at the upcoming PGL CCS LAN, which will take place from Friday, April 24th - Sunday, April 26th.
As for the former 3DMAX squad, natu has confirmed that the bulk of the Finnish roster will still stay together as they continue to search for a new organization to represent. They currently consist of the following players:
Mikko "xartE" Välimaa
Jesse "KHRN" Grandell
Tom "stonde" Glad
Taneli "disturbed" Veikkola
