Cloud9 have overcome a gallant challenge from Mousesports to move on to the main event, adding another NA team to the event whilst Mousesports now face elimination against inSHOCK eSports.

Cloud9 have qualified for the main event of ESL One Katowice 2015, and did so in a convincing fashion. The American team faced off against inSHOCK games in their first match, winning comfortably 16-2.
Mousesports faced off against the Brazilian organisation, KaBuM eSports in their match. Despite a brave showing from KaBuM, Mousesports were able to win 16-10 on de_dust2. The win then saw the German side move on to the qualification match against C9.
Cloud9 qualifies for the ESL One Katowice
C9 overcame Mousesports in what was a see-sawing encounter. The German side shot off to an early lead, largely due to heroics from ChrisJ and LEGIJA. Shahzam took 6 rounds to register his first kill, which came with the AWP. It was in the 7th round that the Cloud9 comeback came into full swing, with n0thing and shroud leading the way. The scoreline at half-time was 9-6 in favour of Mousesports. Cloud9 won the pistol round and looked like running away with the game when they tied the scoreline at 9-9 on the Counter Terrorist side. The momentum built and despite gallant efforts from ChrisJ who fought hard to pull his team back into the match, Cloud 9 pulled ahead to a 15-11 lead. The German side came back from the deficit, and almost looked like snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. It took until the last round for a result to come out, with Cloud9 holding off a late charge from Mousesports to record a thrilling 16-14 win and book themselves a place in the upcoming event in a months time.
