PlayXP reports that the newest Fnatic member Seo Yong "Rain" Park has been dealt a two-season banning from the GOMTV GSL series. This after not attending the GSL July opening ceremony.
The punishment is allegedly also because of Rain's sudden exit of the Code S tournament which resulted in an empty spot in Group A.
Rain was recently announced as Fnatic's newest team member and will travel to USA to live and partake in worldwide tournaments.
In a response at PlayXP.com, Rain said that he takes responsibility for how it all went down. He has also apologized to GOMTV and his fans. He also says that he was unaware of the opening ceremony and that notifying them of his withdrawal from the league on the same day was a coincidence.
