Idra is working hard to get what it takes to compete in the Korean Starcraft pro scene, and show he is not like so many foreigners before him.
Looking to prove himself, Idra has all but locked himself in the eSTRO training facility improving his skills. Even after two months of intensive training he remains focused on his goal of becoming a Pro Gamer, and even mentions he is enjoying the experience.
Within the next 10 months Idra hopes to not only pass the Courage League, but win a spot on the roster of the ProLeague. Something his coach says normally takes a year.
“Obviously my goals are to win in both Proleague and individual leagues. Of course, I know this will be very difficult, but in the meantime, I am in possession of very distant goals. Currently my goal is to pass the Courage League. Once I pass the courage league matches and receive my qualification as a pro gamer, my next goal is to get on the Proleague roster.”
History has shown us the Korean Pro Scene is a very difficult place for a foreigner to survive in; but Idra sounds confident and focused on his goals despite being aware of how difficult they will be to achieve.
