The ESL PGL Qualifier was supposed to be a nice tournament but ended up in an organizational and administrative disaster. After hours of discussing, waiting and re-playing games four players battled their way through the tournament and eventually secured their tickets to PGL China. Check who managed to win.

ESL PGL Playoffs with many controversies
As we reported in former newsposts the ESL PGL Qualifier Final was held just the recent days and 24 players were put into four groups with six players each and the top two advancing to the final round. Everyone was hoping for a nice tournament in mannered atmosphere and good results but
Fraer and Bruce were accused of cheating. According to Cocoa, who had good chances of advancing from his group, Fraer and Bruce reported a fake result to let Fraer advance and avoid a tie-breaker. After many discussions and ESL StarCraft admin 
DaL trying to solve the problems with Fraer, Bruce and Cocoa, the head administrator of ESL StarCraft 
CRTMN took over and it ended up in ESL banning their own admin from the tournament and deleting forumposts of DaL. CRTMN now was in charge of the tournament without any other admin supporting him and solved everything solely.Draco, Iefnaij, Idra and Advokate to PGL China
Eventually Fraer advanced from the groupstage but got beaten in the Playoffs. Many rumors occured, the real ID of
NewFace15 (Draco) was unknown to many for long time and many were still upset because of the actions that took place. Idra had to wait some time until Draco showed up and due to Draco losing his connection several times games had to be re-played and players had to wait. Players accuse ESL and their admins not showing sympathy for the players. According to them the admins made several 'unlucky' decisions and can be blamed at least partially for the progress of the tournament. Whether this is true or not may remain unknown.Bottom line is that
Advokate, Iefnaij, Idra and Draco secured their tickets to PGL Final in China. Further information can be found below. The community is now hoping that ESL eventually learns from their mistakes and is able to avoid those happenings in further events. Time will tell if they are able to do so.
