Despite showing up with only two players, Sweden turned out to be the strongest nation in the Scandinavian tour. Haypro and Datoby finished first and third and brought the victory home for the Swedes.
Not long ago, WGTour announced that they were to host an event involving the countries up north: Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. These countries were to choose four players each, and after that groups would be formed. The group play would give us a final tournament in which the best Scandinavian player would be determined.
This tournament was held on Saturday, and we saw two Swedes and a Fin in the top 3. The three Norwegians who made it to the second round of the event were not very lucky and all got eliminated pretty early. Below you can see the winner bracket of the tournament.
