As the holiday season ends, so does the GosuBet season. But the good news? Another one will be starting soon!
This season's winner was the Polish Protoss player e1-P. His biggest win? 9099 minerals on Arang > Sen. How many times did he reset? A grand total of zero. How many bets did he lose? One bet.
e1-P will be receiving a Razer Exactmat and $40 Canadian for winning this season. He came out on top of 1969 GosuBetters who bet 2403401 minerals all together.We got to catch e1-P for an interview.
| Let's start off with name, age, location? Victor, 24 (damn i'm old), Warsaw (Poland) How do you feel about your #1 position in this season? Was the prize any motivation for you? It was tough battle to be number 1 but i made it and yeah I am proud of it. It required some good estimation of players skills including their best match ups and their current shape(conservative estimators lost so did hardcore all-in players who betted on everything), but also for last days i was analysing current betters standing and their betting possibilities. I'am the perfect better !! If anyoone is wishing to make a fan club of mine, i'll say: 'u're welcome to'. Now, to the prize thing. Till the half of season i wasnt really thinking of winning the prize. I started late, there were already many gosubetters with 4 digits. First of my bets were entirely for fun. I managed to climb to the top by taking every bet seriously. As u can see from my bet log I havent lost any till Draco vs Enemy, this one was dictated by emotions i couldnt resist to bet on one of my favourite players despite of knowing he's not training lately. Back to question. For the first time i felt i can win when Arang devastated Sen, there was this SF)Cream guy who went all-in for sen and he lost his 10000 minerals while i won 9000 and i though: hey i could take the prize. I've cancelled my all-in strategy and was waiting for others mistakes while putting small amounts of 1000 minerals on bets. The prize is quite motivating because there is only one winner, one who takes it all and even more motivating for me who is suffering from poor mousepad. It added some thrill especially during the last days of season. Did you have any particular strategy in your betting? There's only one strategy, all-in till u're on the top and everyone has to pursue you. Than you can take a breath, look behind and start analysing if other participants have a chance of overruning you and than start adjusting your bets to theirs. Och and one rule. If' u arent a semi pro never bet on someone you have won with in clan vs nation sparing. Example: [iS-P(me) vs Ace 2-1] = [Ace vs pRoDuZ00r 2-3] + i've earned 1800 minerals. What do you think was your most decisive bet during the season? I guess it was the chain of 3 good bets (all with 50/50 ratio), starting with Advocate vs Testie where Advocate surelly had better motivation and he always prefers safer style, throuhgt Sen vs PJ, where Sen prooved he can detronize mondragon as no 1 zerg in )TOT(, up to Arang vs Sen, where some minor knowgledge from of his awesome protoss gamestyle gave me a hint of the match result. What are your goals for next GosuBet season? I'll try to do my best for my fanclub !! (if someone would bring it to being ). To make me uberhot i would only add that i also betted all-ins on MGZ who smashed DKH 3:2 , on clawson who won with daze and on assem who would beat crayon but those betts were cancelled and i hadnt set gosubets record this season. I'am trully aiming to be the king of the bets for at least 2 next consecutive seasons and to be the first man who'll accumulate more than 50000 minerals in one season. Ok, for real i'am just wishing to have some fun with other players during next seasons, long live gosubet.
