Whispers of the Old Gods
Whispers of the Old Gods is the third pack expansion for Hearthstone: Heroes of WarCraft, following Goblins vs Gnomes and The Grand Tournament. The theme is centered around the eponymous Old Gods, a vile, malefic, immortal creatures who once ruled the universe before the Titan Council defeated them and banished them to Azeroth.
Now invading the Tavern, the Old Gods are set on corrupting everything, making for Hearthstone's darkest expansion to date. Players will be able to control the monstrosities that are C'Thun or Yogg-Saron and defile the minds of their opponents. Additionally, they will be given Old God acolytes, who boost the power of the deities when they are played.
The set will include 134 new cards and will mark the arrival of the Standard format to Hearthstone.
