Going into their first game as the underdog, Thai team Awake managed to beat Pacific 2, the champion of the Filipino qualifiers. Awake made their way to the semi-finals as they also took their second round against Malaysian runner-up GizMo.
The Singaporean team Harrosh defeated -GoG- from Myanmar in a 60 minutes game. In their second match, Harrosh continued their strong performance and were able to beat TeleR ReborN from Indonesia. Harrosh will have to face Awake in the semi-finals.
GANGSTER, the second Filipino team won their first match against ThéKadé from Sri Lanka, but still dropped into the lower bracket after losing against the champion of the Singaporean qualifier, Departure.
Winter's new team ABC took their first round convincingly and proceeded to the second round of the upper bracket where they will have to face Gameware from Vietnam. The winner of this match will advance to the semi-finals and face Departure.
The last quarter-final of the upper bracket aswell as the first round of the lower bracket will be played tomorrow.
