While NesTea and MVP represent Korea at BlizzCon, the trio Min-Chul "MC" Jang, Yun-Yeol "NaDa" Lee and Jung-Hoon "MarineKing" Lee will be playing at the Electronic Sports World Cup (ESWC) thanks to an invitation program together with GOMTV.
The player invitation picks were based on points acquired in GSL instead of hosting a qualifying tournament like many of the other nationalities.
The grand final of the French-based event is dated to October 21-25 with a prize pool of $66,000 USD for StarCraft 2.
Other players interested in qualifying must either go through their national qualifiers, or play in an online qualifier. While the administration require an entry fee of $10 USD or €10 EUR for the qualifiers, ending in Top 4 or Top 8 allow the player to dodge the ESWC admission fee of $200 USD.
