RRQ Hoshi became the first team to secure a slot in the M6 World Championship after completing a reverse sweep against Team Liquid ID in the upper bracket final. They will represent Indonesia on the grandest stage of MLBB this year.
After a 30-minute delay to the start of game one, 
Team Liquid ID just stepped on the gas against 
RRQ Hoshi. The Cavalry didn’t show any remorse against their opponent. Team Liquid ID won game one coloured with a perfect Nathan performance by Aeronnshiki.
In game two, the gas hasn’t run out from Team Liquid ID’s tank albeit they made some unnecessary mistakes. However, while imperfect, their performance was enough to win game 2 to secure the match-point advantage for them.
Things went differently for Team Liquid ID when game three started, they looked out of gas against RRQ Hoshi as the team picked Suyou to dismantle Team Liquid in the third game completely. The newest hero of MLBB proved to be unstoppable for the cavalry, and they needed to find momentum in games 4 and 5.
However, momentum was the one thing Team Liquid ID missed as they couldn’t handle all of RRQ Hoshi’s aggressiveness during both of those games. They forced Suyou and Nathan out of the game while nullifying Faviann’s Ling and Bane in the fourth and fifth games, respectively. RRQ Hoshi completed the reverse sweep and secured the M6 World Championship slot.
In the lower bracket, expectations were high for the confrontation between Geek Fam and Bigetron Alpha as, on paper, they should produce a tight game. However, what happened on the stage didn’t convey that expectation, as it was one of the most one-sided confrontations in the MPL Indonesia Season 14 playoff.
Bigetron Alpha successfully won against the famous Baloyskie’s Tigreal in a back-and-forth 23-minute game; they tried to end the game after a mistake by the Geeks. However, Geek Fam could recover the fumble with a perfectly-timed Spear of Misery from Moskov. But, their time soon runs out when another mistake is punished ruthlessly by Bigetron Alpha to end the game.
Geek Fam looked out of gas when the second and third games happened. The red android answered every move that their opponent made perfectly. They didn’t give any chance for Geek Fam to expand their gameplay and ended both games swiftly. The Geeks were eliminated from MPL Indonesia S14.
The MPL Indonesia Season 14 will continue with a lower bracket final between Team Liquid ID and Bigetron Alpha on the 26th of October 2024. Which team will join RRQ Hoshi in the grand final and secure the slot in the M6 World Championship?
