Nigeria's Esports Federation partners up with MOONTON Games

More big news continues to pour out of MOONTON Games, this time benefiting the Northern Africa region – and Nigeria in particular.

In recent years we have seen a massive venture from MOONTON Games to spread Mobile Legends: Bang Bang out from solely the Southeast Asia region and bring it to the world. This has been largely successful, with the likes of North America, CIS, and even Europe really beginning to flourish in their regions and make their way into the international circuit. Today, an announcement came out from MOONTON Games which adds another step forward for their ground-breaking mobile game as a partnership with the Nigeria Esports Federation is penned.

The partnership which was confirmed earlier today is a huge one for the Nigerian esports scene, with both organisations focused on upgrading, growing, and developing the esports community and ecosystem in the region. MOONTON Games will work with the Nigeria Esports Federation (NESF) to license and organise tournaments in the region – including the national league, which will further improve the competitive experience for players.

Yahaya Maikori, President of the NESF, had the following to say on the collaboration,

Partnering with MOONTON Games marks a significant milestone for the Nigeria Esports Federation and this is coming in good time as we are about to commence our national qualifiers for MLBB towards the IESF World Esports Championship in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. We are excited to collaborate with a global leader in the esports industry to enhance the competitive landscape and provide unparalleled opportunities for Nigerian gamers.”

The partnership is set to drive the Nigerian MLBB upward with continued support from MOONTON Games as both organisations strive to create, innovate, and secure an excellent competitive ecosystem for the game with the region. We look forward to seeing what the NESF has in store for their region in the future and whether Nigeria can rise to the challenge of the Middle East and North Africa region.
