Moonton brings an official MLBB event to Turkey

Moonton continue to grow MLBB across the globe, as Turkey becomes the next region gain an official League for the game.

After we witnessed the magnificence of Incendio Supremacy at the M4 World Championship earlier this year, Moonton have moved forward in rewarding the region with their very own official Mobile Legends: Bang Bang league. From April 8 through to May 14, 2023, eight teams will compete in the Mobile Legends Türkiye Championship, with a total of over $25,000 in prize pool on the line. More importantly than the prize pool is the chance for one team to feature at MSC 2023, after Moonton opened the event to teams outside of Southeast Asia for the first time ever.

Ajay Jilka, Head of MLBB Esports in Turkey and CIS had the following to say on the region and its new MTC event,

Türkiye Championship aka MTC is an evolution of our previous qualifiers for our M Series World Championships, and the strength of Incendio Supremacy in Jakarta this year has showcased the prowess of Turkish teams on the global stage, which we hope to see grow to new heights this year."

The tournament will feature one team directly invited into the event, while the remaining seven spots will be determined via closed qualifiers – which have yet to have a date confirmed. We will have more news on the MTC Season 1 as it becomes available, but for now we are looking forward to seeing the new talent appear from different parts of the world as MLBB continues to grow.
