The M5 World Championship gathers the top players of MLBB worldwide, but these three stole the spotlight across the tournament.
After the dust of The M5 World Championship has been settled, AP. Bren emerged as the winner and got the bragging rights to be called the best in the world. However, this doesn't mean that AP. Bren stole all the spotlight in the tournament. Many players strike an awe in the audience.
These players define excellence beyond expectation and are the difference makers for their team. Carrying their respective brand of playstyle, these players will be the ones to look for in the new season of Mobile Legends. Who are they? We look at three players who stole the spotlight in The M5 World Championship.
Honorable Mention:
Two names come to our mind besides the three best players, which will be presented later. The two names were Ahmet "Rosa" Batir from FireFlux Esports and Kiel "OHEB" Q.Soriano from Blacklist International. These two players can perform out of their minds in different stages across the competition.
The midlaner from FF Esports blew everyone's mind when he dominated the group stage. They are, possibly, the ones that are expected to be the fodder for other teams. Inside the group that contains SMG, RRQ Akira, and Blacklist International, FireFlux can get the top spot with a 2-1 result. Rosa himself gets the MVP awards twice across the group stage.
While Rosa gets recognition in the Group Stage, the knockout phase of the M5 World Championship is OHEB's place to shine. The EXPlaner from Blacklist International is by far the best player in the team. He's the definition of a clutch player for a team. When they need him more, he shines brighter.
3. KidBomba - Deus Vult
The first name that comes to our mind is the rise of KidBomba from Deus Vult in the M5 World Championship. What makes us remember is how he brings himself on and off the arena. His play brims with confidence, and the way he talks gives that tinge of charisma from a superstar.
One of KidBomba's best traits that makes us love him is his passion for every game. One, in particular, was when Deus Vult made a 10K net-worth comeback against Geek Fam ID. He is the catalyst of that comeback, using Terizla and being the unmovable anchor in their defense. We will watch him closely and most likely see him again in the following M World Championship series.
2. CW - ONIC Esports
Let's get the elephant out of the room first; no one is to blame for ONIC's loss in the grand final. Everybody plays excellently; unfortunately, fortune sometimes does not favor the bold. Across the tournament, one player who always delivers for ONIC Esports, in my opinion, is CW.
Without discrediting the other team members, He is a player who embodies perseverance and solidity. His versatility in using different heroes in the Gold Lane makes it difficult for the enemy team to predict what he will use against them—the series against AP. Bren in the Upper Bracket Final is an excellent example of his versatility.
1. FlapTzy - AP.Bren
Without a shadow of a doubt, the player that defines AP. Bren and M5 World Championship overall is David "FlapTzy" Canon. The 19-year-old man from The Phillippines is the MVP of the tournaments and brought the trophy back to Bren Esports after winning it back in the M2 World Championship.
His controlled explosiveness in the match makes him one of the most dangerous players in the M5 World Championship. FlapTzy dominates the game and supports his teammates to keep calm and composed. His play in the Grand Final against ONIC Esports is the best example of seeing these traits in full force.
These three players stole the spotlight in the M5 World Championship. Which player do you think is the best performing one?
