On February 28, 2023, ULVL Productions confirmed the passing of Rob Luna, their production manager and extremely well-known face and voice throughout the MLBB community. Having begun his MLBB professional shoutcasting career all the way back at the Mobile Legends Professional League Season 4, Rob Luna quickly became a favourite of the fans. His talents took him through to the M2 World Championships, the ONE Esports MPL Invitational 2020, and MSC 2021, among many other events too – as he bounced from casting, to hosting, or just being an analyst. Although he moved on to guiding and helping amateur talents rise, Rob Luna remained a person that helped mould the MLBB casting into what it is today.

Many players, casters, and members of the greater MLBB community have come out to mourn the tragic loss to the community – with social media filled with heartfelt messages and memories. MPL PH, this morning, posted their condolences via Twitter, while some of the casters have turned their profile pictures to black in mourning of him.
