Team Liquid: Smoothie blending in

Team Liquid went through many changes including the roster and the management of the League of Legends team. Team Liquid brings in Smoothie as their newest instalment for the team.?

Andy "Smoothie" Ta joined Team Liquid after his announcement of moving out of Team Dragon Knights (now known as Team Arena Online). Team Liquid's public announcement of Smoothie's addition into the team was nothing less than an epic cook-off.

With all that's said, Andy Ta is an interesting support player from the former, TDK. His career in the prior team showed that he is a well-rounded player with a champion pool that is diverse. During the LCS split, however, he played more conservatively with Alistar, Thresh, and Nautilus.

Despite the poor season TDK had during the summer split, Andy Ta was able to be a positive factor in the team with his consistent kill participation of 71.8% per game in average.

While it is true that Alex "Xpecial" Chu was able to participate in more kills than Smoothie on an average game basis (77.5%), Chu favored playing conditional champions including Annie and Janna.

This is not to discredit Chu's style or performance by any means. In fact, Xpecial performed at a high level as a support player. The question I wanted to seriously ask is, "Will TL be better with Smoothie or will Smoothie under-perform compared to his substitute counter-part?"

You be the judge. (Vote down below)
