SK, Millenium, and Alliance shine in the opening games of the start for Season 4's Summer Split.
After a long break, LCS is back starting with the European superweek. Fnatic looked to prove fans wrong and come back strong, starting the first game off very strongly. However, SK's masterful control of the late game and strong psyche allowed them to come back and seize advantages.
SK Gaming showed supreme objective control and, through it were able to establish enough of a gold lead to also grab a objective lead. While Fnatic's early game seemed promising, SK Gaming crushed through Fnatic in the late game and took the first win of the whole split.
The second game showcased Millenium not wanting to settle for being at the bottom of the pack. An early teleport gank would allow Kerp to get ahead with first blood on his Fizz, which quickly snowballed. Millenium showed just how much they wanted to win the first game to keep the momentum up for the rest of the day.
To compliment Millenium's improved play, Creaton was able to step it up to a level we hadn't seen for a long time from the young marksman, allowing Millenium to take the game.
The third game would be Alliance finding early trouble against Copenhagen Wolves. CHW were able to take a commanding lead by acquiring the first two towers of the game. Alliance ended up coming back in kills, but not before Copenhagen Wolves won a crucial teamfight bottom.
While Copenhagen Wolves' new roster didn't look weak, its vulnerability showed in lack of experience. Alliance were able to make decisive and crucial game-winning decisions later on that would allow them to take the third game of the LCS. Stay tuned for more LCS coverage.
